Gracias, Gracias, Gracias.
Gratitude is a beautiful state of being. I’ve learned that is always good to be thankful for every experience; the good and the bad. The universe doesn’t resist to your gratitude and simply comply to your callings. When you prepare your soul to be thankful for every single experience, you start to unfold and understand the teaching in order to grow. Sometimes we get angry at people or situations because we think we didn’t do anything to deserve such thing, but those”traitors” or “problems” are here to teach us something that we wouldn’t be able to do alone, things we refuse to see and deny about ourselves. Then we can begin to see the true teachers in life, and use those teachings in our favor in order to transform.
Gratitude is a practice that has helped me to be more present, to trust in life and in myself in order to receive with love what the universe sends me. I have been practicing gratitude towards my body without complaining about it. Growing up I used to hate my nose and my legs, now I can thank my nose for being able to smell my daughter’s hair, my mom’s perfume, the burning sage. I can thank my legs for being able to walk this path, to move forward and rooting me to this journey. I have listened to myself and the terrible message I was sending to the universe, I had to correct myself in order to be willing to receive and create greater things.
We have been taught to focus solely on our lacks and needs, we have believed that we are incomplete and that everything that happens to us is either because of the government, religion, science, or the economy. We don’t give ourselves the credit to acknowledge the responsibility we have in what we attract and create. When we are thankful all fears, doubts , and guilt disappear and we start to vibrate on a higher frequency, we create the love hormone (oxytocin). If we are not happy with anything, we won’t be happy with everything. We believe that everything we need comes from outside and we discourage ourselves to generate from within the reality we want to create, but it’s imperative that we believe in who we are. Let’s be thankful for this moment and when you are too much in your head, listen to your heart and be inspired by everything around you. Let’s reflect on how we want to exist and let’s become a creator of those things we desire. Remember that the knowledge is already inside of you and that magic is real.
